We will accelerate change through sporting excellence in sailing, ocean advocacy, and sustainable innovation.

In 2021 we will be racing in The Ocean Race Europe. Following the launch of our new IMOCA 60 in July we will begin our two-boat racing program with The Rolex Fastnet Race, Défi Azimut and the Transat Jacques Vabre.

Job Title:

Junior Video Editor

DURATION:

May – December 2021

The ROLE:

We have an opening for a junior editor looking to gain experience working with an international sports team. This is a great opportunity to work on the inside of a professional sports team during 2021 while the sailing Team is training and racing in Europe. The Junior Video Editor will be immersed into the communications team and play an important role in the delivery of the overall Team communications strategy. 

The successful candidate will not only have a strong creative eye for storytelling and creating dynamic video content for all social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) but also longer-form content for events. They will know the latest social trends, have a strong interest in sport and an understanding of the importance of sustainability in society. 

Responsibilities:

  • Video editing (short and long format)
  • Support Content Director and Onboard Media Crewmember with shooting interviews and shore-based operations
  • Provide support with content distribution across Team channels
  • Assist with content library management

Technical specifications:

Needs to have a good understanding of Premiere Pro and video codecs to ensure compatibility with the Team’s existing workflow. Photoshop and After Effects skills is a bonus, and there will be lots of flexibility to experiment and learn those skills

Requirements:

  • Based in France
  • Must speak good English and French
  • International travel will be required
