This will be my First Ocean Race, but I have previously worked for Sail GP and Team Malizia for the 2020 Vendee Globe.

Surfing, feeling the power and tranquility of the ocean.

IF YOU WERE A MARINE ANIMAL WHAT WOULD YOU BE?

Great white Shark because I might get a feature on ‘Shark Week’ doing a mad jump.

SHARE A FUN FACT ABOUT YOU AND SAILING:

I started sailing as a youngster, then I proceeded to sail in the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron Youth Programme which gave me great opportunities such as sailing for Emirates Team New Zealand in the Extreme Sailing Series.

WHAT DOES SUSTAINABILITY MEAN TO YOU?

To leave as small a footprint as possible.

How do you live a more sustainable lifestyle?

Always sourcing food locally where possible. Going to fruit stores, butcher and bakeries for your essentials which reduces the crazy amount of supermarket packaging.
